This beta is for learning from real installations, not collecting names for a general waitlist.
You bring
- One real client, portfolio, creator, or small-business website.
- Comments you have permission to publish.
- Reasonable access to the site’s code or publishing workflow.
- Candid feedback about installation and handoff.
We provide
- The current private build and integration documentation.
- Direct help shaping, styling, and installing the first reel.
- Fixes for beta defects that block the agreed installation.
- A clear point of contact for the pilot.
What is current
CommentReel displays manually supplied comments in an accessible, themeable, self-hosted reel. It supports script-tag, web-component, engine, and React integration paths.
What is not included
There are no accounts, managed feeds, automated imports, moderation queues, approval dashboards, analytics, billing, or hosted delivery. Those remain possible future directions only.
Selection and timing
Acceptance is not automatic. Projects are selected for current fit, useful learning, and the practical ability to complete an installation. Timing is agreed directly with accepted partners.
Applications and retention
Application details are used only to evaluate fit, contact applicants, and support accepted installations. Declined or inactive applications are deleted within 90 days. See the privacy summary for processors and deletion requests.
After the pilot
We will document installation friction and revisit licensing and business-model choices after enough external installations and customer conversations. Partners will be told before access or terms materially change.
